Provided Queensland moves to Stage 3 Easing of Restrictions on 10th July, the club plans to reopen on Saturday 11th July. We will be subject to the many restrictions imposed (or recommendations made) by Queensland Health.

One is a Health Declaration which players will be required to complete and hand in every time you enter the club. Your temperature will be taken and recorded on this declaration. If you have an elevated temperature you will not be able to play. If you are unwell, for any reason, please do not come to the club.

You will need to register to play ahead of time - there will be no visitors and no walk-ins.

We will, as usual, be using bidding boxes and we ask that you bring your own if possible. If not, one will be provided. Hand sanitiser will be provided and you will be required to wash or sanitise your hands many times throughout the session.

We have all been taking one day at a time since the beginning of this pandemic and we continue to do so. Every day brings something new. We hope before too long that restrictions will be eased further and we may be able to return to 'normal' bridge. In the meantime, our first priority is for everyone's health and well being. We are using four tables pushed together to create one large table to conform with social distancing regulations of at least 1.5m separation. We believe we can offer a Covid safe environment but that will rely heavily on everyone complying with the social distancing and hygiene regulations. We absolutely do not want any of our members to contract this virus.

Full details of the process will be made available in due course.

After we get back to face-to-face bridge we intend to continue with some online BBO sessions for the time being for those who are unable or unwilling to attend the club, or who just prefer the on-line experience.
