Sanctuary Cove Bridge Club

The Sanctuary Cove Bridge Club was established in May 2011 with the help of Kim Ellaway and Keith MacDonald of the QBA. Bridge was played for many years prior to this in a dedicated card room at the Country Club. Golfing members got together and played Bridge after golf and in the evenings.

Faye Wyer was our inaugural President in 2011, and our first elections were held in 2012 which saw Fiona Law becoming President. We became a registered club with our own constitution in October 2014 and held our first AGM in the same year.

We are a new club with a lot of new playing members. Lessons have become very popular and we are fortunate to have dedicated teachers including Joan Butts to improve the standard of Bridge at our club.
