Chris Fader and Richard Bodell won the Penline 500 which is a competition for players under 500 masterpoints. Chris and Richard had a seeding of 21 in a field of 62
Meanwhile Trisha Afflick and Richard Prickett were placed 68th out of 226 in the open pairs coming in with a seeding of 190.
In the Premier teams event the South-West Pacific Teams Championship, Trisha, Chris Richard and Richard had a very good result. They finished 87th in a field of 126 with a seeding of 122. The opponents we actually played included several top Australian players including George Bilski, Marlene Watts, Michael Prescott, Marilyn Chadwick.
Meanwhile Dita Hunt beat her seeding by finishing 49th in the Chris Diment Matchpoint Swiss Pairs with a seeding of 51.
