International TEAMS Bridge

GBL Teams is an on-line global bridge league for social bridge players who want to foster friendships through regular games of international Teams bridge. We play on Fridays at 0700 GMT between April and October each year. This allows us to include regions of the world East of the UK & Ireland to as far as New Zealand. If you live in the London or Dublin then it’s a 8am local start. Likewise, Tel Aviv and Istanbul start at 10am local, Perth  3pm, Sydney 5pm and Auckland 7pm. Start times for countries in between just need to be converted from 0700 GMT  (smartphones call this UTC).

Joining GBL Teams is Easy - SUSPENDED

5 simple steps to joining:

1. Register your interest as a team captain by submitting your name and email address below. 

2. Our Community Manager will get in touch and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.

3. Sign up your team

4. Make a single series payment via PayPal so your team can enter the next league series. 

5. Attend the pre series Zoom (video call) meeting - get to know the other captains, ask questions and connect with the organisers.

Every Team Needs a Captain

The role of team captain is pivotal in helping players enjoy the GBL Teams experience. The main responsibility of the captain is team organisation and communication. We pass information to your team through your team captain. Effective organisation and communication creates a smooth and fun environment for the whole community.
