Sparta DBC

Sparta will be holding Tuesday afternoon Supervised Play Classes.  This is a great opportunity for new  players learning or players wanting to refresh skills.  Class based on "Bidding in the 21st Century" textbook from the ACBL.  Only one topic for the day.  The class will start with a short review of the theme of the day then we will spend the day learning and playing the topic with play of the hand reviews.  All hands will have bidding on the topic of the day.

 

Supervised Play Bridge Class

Tuesdays 10am – 2pm

$10  (Can’t stay whole day $5 for ½ session)

 

4/2   -   1nt opening, Stayman, transfers.  Opening leads. 

All opening bids will be 1NT.  Learn when to use Stayman vs Jacoby and Texas transfers, and when not to use them.  Then play hands the entire session to gain experience with these conventions.

4/4 in majors

4/5 in majors

4/3/3/3 with a major

5/5 in majors
