The DAY OF BRIDGE in support of the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners was held on Wednesday, June 19.
Many thanks to our LBC members and their friends who generously donated over $13,000 in support of the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
WELL DONE LBC MEMEBERS! A fabulous achievement as this was our largest donation to the Alzheimer Society.
The Day of Bridge would not have been a success without our volunteers. Thanks so much to Janine Higgins and her assistants, Alison Marr and Angie Francolini for preparing and serving a Brain Healthy lunch between the two games. Special thanks to Janine for not only preparing a Full of Beans salad, a Quinoa Mango salad, a Kale, Lentin, and Sweet Potato salad, and a Vegan Greek Pasta salad but for also purchasing and donating all the lunch supplies. Many requests for Janine's recipes followed the Brain Healthy lunch. You can find Janine's recipes HERE.
Thanks as well to Tom Jolliffe for hosting the Day of Bridge event.

Thanks to all LBC members for your support of the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
Who gets the cookies, the pop, the coffee, and the paper towels? Who changes the lights? Who empties the garbage? Our Volunteers do all of the above and much more. The LBC is a successful bridge club because of our Volunteers. Take a look at our COMMITTEES AND VOLUNTEER page and let's give them our thanks for all that they contribute to the London Bridge Centre.

Practice and Play has returned on Saturday mornings. Practice and Play is an opportunity to play bridge for those new to the game or for those who would like to brush up on their bridge skills. This is a casual bridge session with expert guidance provided by Peter Tuttle and Adele Woolfe. Ask questions about your bidding, your play, and of course "What could I have done better?"
This session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No pre-registration is required. Feel free to come on your own, with a partner, or even with a table of four.
