Membership in the LBC

The London Bridge Centre is a member-managed, not-for-profit bridge club. Our membership year now runs from August 1 through July 31 and our annual membership fee for 2024-25 is $50.

Members of the London Bridge Centre pay game fees of $8; non-member fees are $10. Members have access to Pianola software for tracking, analyzing and accumulating their personal history of play at the club, and all members can participate in governance of the club.

Membership forms are available at the club or you may print the Member Application form and bring it with you to the club. 

Memberships can now be paid online using the e-Transfer feature of your financial service provider.

To use the e-Transfer feature:

1. sign-in to your banking provider 

2. select e-Transfers

3. Add the London Bridge Centre as a new contact

4. Use membershipslbc@rogers.com as the payee email address

5. Submit payment using your new LBC contact

6. Please clearly indicate your first and last name in the messages section. 

 

e-Transfers will be automatically deposited to LBC's bank account. No security verification question is required. However, if your banking service provider requires a security question please use "What is your favourite card game?" as the question and "Bridge" as your answer.

Membership and game fees are inclusive of HST.

Join the ACBL

Membership in the ACBL includes the very popular and instructive Bridge Bulletin magazine. You can also track your bridge accomplishments through the MyACBL portal. Membership in the ACBL offers access to over 3200 bridge clubs and 1100 annual tournaments where you can earn masterpoints and advance your rank. It's a great way to meet fellow bridge players, visit other clubs and explore cities throughout North America.   

Currently, members of the London Bridge Centre who join the ACBL will receive two Free Play vouchers to any Unit 249 sanctioned bridge tournament. Joining the ACBL is easy. Go to the Join the ACBL page on the ACBL website and complete the application form. Or ask the Manager of Bridge Operations, Bruce Moor, for an "Instant Member Application" form.
