There are two papers: Laws & Regulations, and Scoring & Movements
These assessments are an open boook on-line examination.
Candidates must complete the online Bridge Basics quiz prior to sitting the Laws & Regulations examination.

Tournament Director Assessment Dates 2024
Entry to the weekend course will require successfully completing an online pre-entry test.
The assessments are in 3 parts:
Homework Assessments, Scenario Assessments and Exit Examination
The are four Homework Assessments over the four weekends prior to the Assessment Weekend. The Scenario Assessments and Exit Examination will be held during the 3-day Assessment Weekend.
Register by 7 March for the Pre-entry test on 9-10 March. The Assessment Weekend will be 20-22 April, Taradale Bride Club.
Register by 10 October for the Pre-entry test on 12-13 October. The Assessment Weekend will be 16-18 November, Otago Bridge Club.
