Congratulations to Sandy Davies & Bazil Caygill on their clear win with a score of 83 VPs. The margin of their win was enough to give them not only the Stones New Year Trophy but the first handicap prize (as measured by the National Grading scheme (NGS).
Glyn Foley & Peter Camm were in second place, and they also scored high enough to win the second handicap prize.
Sandy Fulton (from Notts) & Steve Mulligan and Rod Hose & Richard Wraight shared third place. In fifth place and winning the final handicap prize were Rob Woolham and Simon Woolham, who scored and co-directed the event.
In sixth place were Tony Ashwell and Dominic Rayner. Incidently, Dominic has for several weeks now been ranked as the club's top player according to the NGS.
