Congratulations to Julie and Ian Grant on their 2nd place out of 64 in the Great Northern Pairs which replaced the Great Northern Swiss Pairs this year. They managed a huge score of 63.4% over the two sessions, coming second in each session. They were beaten by a York pair on 64.1% but were over 5% ahead of the pair in 3rd place. 64 boards were played over the two days.

Ian and Julie very recently won the Isle of Man Congress Pairs, so are having a good run!
