The Peggy Bayer Trophy is the U21 Home Internationals and next year will be held in Wales on 14-16 February 2020. I expect you will travel on Friday 14 February, starting play around 7pm: play finishes around 8pm on Sunday and you return home on Monday 17 February. Please keep the date free.

My short-term plan is to get those going to Montrose in August ready to play there. This will involve some homework as I try to bring some discipline to your bridge: in bridge terms, discipline means that you always tend to do the same thing with similar hands and you are predictable. 

My medium-term plan to select a team for the Peggy Bayer next year. This will involve more practise, both on Bridge Base Online and training sessions, so I (and others) can see you play.

My long-term plan is to send those pairs who are good enough to the 2020 European U21 Pairs next summer. 

You can increase the chances of being selected by just playing bridge, on BBO, at clubs, and in local tournaments. Especially if you let me know when you play so that I can watch or look at how you have done. If you want any help, then please just ask: we can always find experienced players who are happy to help juniors.
