Unit 214's first Intermediate Bridge class wrapped up the course Monday morning.  The class was developed and taught by Education Liaison Deanna Stewart. Over the last two months, students in the class explored some of the less well-known aspects of Standard American bridge.  Just a few of the topics covered were the reverse, cue bids, doubles, understanding the convention card, Ace asking conventions (1430 Roman Key Card), bidding controls, and much more.  We would like to thank the following members for their interest in improving their bridge game:  Bill Finnicum, Sarah Finnicum, Beth Davis, Martin Booda, Betty Bradley, and Sherry Kinkopf.  We could not do this work, though, without the support of the Unit 214 Board of Directors and our Club Manager.  So a huge thank you goes to Peggy Brian, Val Ramsey, Jane Shurden, Lynn Stuart, Cathy Gersh, Sandra Baggett, and Mary Gunn.
