The NAP qualifying event for our district was on October 22 2023. We had five members from our unit participate at the home of Deanna Stewart. This number is an increase from last year’s total of 3 members playing, which is roughly 8%, and our sister unit on the GCBC had 9% participation with 14 members playing. We plan on doing another Stewart-hosted event for the GNT. 

Tommie Wright and Sandra Baggett played in flight A and came in 5th overall for the day winning 8.53 Gold!  Deanna Stewart and Russ Kirkpatrick were 3rd overall in flight B and qualified to play in the NAP Finals in Louisville, KY in the spring, and they earned 10.13 Gold!  Janice Kirkpatrick and Vicky Massey (Gulf Coast) also played in flight B and were 10th in session one earning .53 red. Beth Davis and Sherry Kinkopf played in flight C and were 4th in their section in session two earning .41 red points.  Congratulations to all of our members!

Thank you to the Stewarts for hosting our members! Deanna made us all "Kentucky Derby Hats" for the day since the NAP finals will be around the time of the Kentucky Derby in 2024.
