Monday's class welcomed 16 bridge students back to the club.  Students have been practicing opening 1 of a major, 1 of a minor, and 1 no trump, so Monday's lesson was all about how to play the hand and make the contract.  

Deanna and I owe a huge thank you to members Mary Gunn, Patsy Fagan, and Sandra Baggett for coming to help.  Having a club member sit and mentor four students at a table helped our day run smoothly.  Every student I talked to said that having the mentor at the table was very helpful. 

Up next, students will learn some defensive strategies and practice trying to set a contract.
